Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co.(“VWATJ”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, is the largest green-field transmission and e-drive producer of the VW Group in China. Across two plants, we produce premium quality Double-clutch Gearbox (DSG) transmissions, hybrid transmissions and e-drives. DQ500 gearbox represent a unique synthesis of comfort, sportiness and fuel efficiency. It makes dual-clutch technology available to customers with larger and high-output vehicles. The DQ500 gearbox eliminates the hydraulic torque converter, so the shift efficiency is extremely high. At the same time, it does not have the low-speed frustration of the 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission, and it has better shift smoothness.
